Equipment

Physical equipment needed to achieve the mission includes:

• Two Tornado catamarans (one in US and one in Europe to avoid excessive shipping charges and shipping damage) and one F18. The team owns one Tornado and one F18, a second Tornado is budgeted for 2007, which will be shipped to China for the Olympics.

• Equipment trailer and truck. The team has purchased a trailer and truck for traveling in North America. Although a trailer and truck is preferred for Europe, the Team can and does works closely with the world partners in effort to defray transportation costs in Europe.

• Sails and equipment for repairs central to improving boat design and speed.
