OUR MISSION:

The team's mission is to become the US OLYMPIC TORNADO sailing representative and win the Gold Medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics to be held in Beijing, China.                                                                                                                                                                    

OUR GOALS: 

To achieve our mission we must accomplish three basic components: 

 1. An American team must qualify the United States to compete in the Olympic Games at one of the two upcoming World Championships. Country qualification is done by placing in the top seven countries at the 2006 Worlds or the next top eight countries at the 2007 Worlds. Our goal is to be the team that qualifies the USA for the Olympic Games as we did for the 2000 and 2004 Olympics.

2. Our team must win the Olympic Trials in October of 2007 which determines the US team who represents the USA at the 2008 Olympic Games.

3. Maintain and advance our level of performance and carry it through to the Olympic games and  win the 2008 Olympic Gold Medal in the Tornado class.
